My Mother has advanced COPD.  She was told last Nov. that she had 6 - 12 mos. so get her affairs in order.  She just passed the 12 month mark but Tuesday & Wednesday she woke up shaking pretty badly and her hands were ice cold.  The shaking persisted so she was taken to the ER on Tuesday.  They found no cause for it and sent her home.  Does anyone know what this is or ...

Hello everyone, I am 31 years old and lucked up when my doctors found out I have COPD.  I say I am lucky the doctors found it because I was being seen/tested for chest pain at the time and my cardiologist wanted to refer me to gastro.  I pushed for a contrast CT after my other tests were coming up negative. They found my emphysema during the scan and I was referred to a pulmonologist....
